Senior Operative Buyer 80%-100% (m/f/d) to start immediately or by arrangement

Your tasks

Together with the Head of Product Management / Purchasing, you support demand planning and are responsible for the timely ordering and availability of products. Associated tasks such as monitoring delivery dates, checking invoices, and handling any complaints complete the work process.

In negotiations with suppliers, you contribute profitably thanks to your overview of the current market situation and maintain partnership-based supplier relationships as well as your network. In consultation with the Head of Purchasing, you prepare the annual evaluations of the defined suppliers.

Additional topics such as customs, logistics, or support in production and demand planning can expand your daily work depending on experience. We see this role as an interface, which is why close cooperation with other departments such as sales, marketing, logistics, production, and quality assurance is part of everyday life. Synchronisation with our external warehouse enables you to create optimal conditions to manage the disposition process efficiently.

Your ideal profile

• Commercial qualification with additional training in purchasing or supply chain
• Experience in the food industry
• Confidence in negotiating with suppliers
• Precise and structured way of working
• Fluent German and preferably English skills
• Experience with ERP (MS Business Central/Navision) is an advantage
• Customer-oriented with professionally sound communication skills
• Analytical thinking comes easily to you
