Senior Network Specialist 90 - 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client is looking for an experienced network specialist to take on the following tasks:

• Development, implementation and comprehensive documentation of communication networks for army, federal and emergency services facilities ?

• Elaboration and continuous optimisation of network concepts with a focus on stability, security and sustainable long-term operation

• Configuration, commissioning and testing of network components both in project environments and in productive operational scenarios

• Expert support and targeted assistance of customer networks during projects and service deployments

• Professional advice to project management in the pre-sales phase, especially in the development of solution concepts, architectural decisions and offer preparation

• Systematic analysis and professional resolution of demanding network and security challenges at 3rd-level support

What do I need to be successful?

You bring the following qualifications:

• Completed technical education at tertiary level (Advanced Technical College, Bachelor, Master or MAS) in engineering or an equivalent qualification

• Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and technologies for secure communication

• Practical experience with network solutions from leading manufacturers such as Cisco, Juniper or Checkpoint

• Additional qualifications in IP communication are desirable, for example Cisco certifications

• Experience with microwave radio technologies or willingness to familiarise yourself with this area

• Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form (at least B2 level)

• High willingness to learn and enjoyment in exploring new subject areas
