About the job
The Ageing and Care department of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex.
For the residential group "Acute and Transitional Care (AÜP)" at the Adlergarten Retirement Home, which provides a well-maintained home for 160 residents, we are seeking from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement a committed, communicative and experienced leader who wishes to help shape the daily care routine together with colleagues.
Your Tasks
- Operational management and independent organisation of the AÜP residential group
- Ensuring professional care and support of patients
- Responsibility for the personnel and professional leadership of the care and support team
- Interdisciplinary collaboration, including with the medical service, therapies, care expert, customer advice and hospitality
- Responsibility for RAI classification and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines
- Active participation in future-oriented care development and supervision of students
Your Profile
- Training as a registered nurse HF / FH with acute and/or long-term experience as well as management training or willingness to acquire it
- Willingness to participate in direct care and support
- Very good IT skills (MS Office, RAI and PEP knowledge advantageous) as well as confident German language skills
- High social competence and communication skills with strong reliability
- Great independence, openness to change processes
- Quick comprehension, networked thinking with analytical skills
