About the job
With fresh enthusiasm, diverse experience, and a clear vision for school development, we, Sabrina Storrer and Daniel Wyder, will jointly take over the school leadership of the Oberhofen School Centre from 1 August 2025.
Sabrina Storrer – School Leadership Cycle 2
My name is Sabrina Storrer, I am 38 years old, married, and mother of two girls. Together with my family, I live in Dättlikon, a small community in the Winterthur agglomeration. In my free time, I enjoy being active – jogging, hiking, horse riding, or cycling.
My professional path began in the private sector, where I worked for over 15 years as a marketing specialist and project manager. However, the desire for a meaningful occupation grew stronger, so in 2024 I decided to work as a specialist teacher for French at a secondary school. This role sparked a great enthusiasm for education and the wish to actively contribute to the further development of a school.
The opportunity to co-lead the Oberhofen School Centre fills me with great anticipation. I see school as a lively place of learning and growth, where all involved – children, teachers, parents – work together to create a positive, learning-promoting atmosphere. A strong, modern school needs not only clear structures but also courage for innovation, lived collaboration, and a shared understanding of education. I want to actively help shape this development.
Daniel Wyder – School Leadership Cycle 1
My name is Daniel Wyder, I am 58 years old, married, father of three adult children, and grandfather of two granddaughters. Together with my wife, I live in Algetshausen. After several years as a full-time school president in Uzwil, I was headteacher of a school with all three cycles in Walzenhausen for the past four years.
From August 2025, I will take on co-leadership in Oberhofen with a 70 percent workload. As a trained headteacher, business economist, mechanical engineer, local pastor, and resilience coach, I bring a broad range of experiences and perspectives. In my free time, I am involved as president of the association in the school psychological service of the canton of St. Gallen. Furthermore, I serve as a local pastor and enjoy being a grandfather as well as travelling with the caravan.
What motivates me especially: School is a central place of social development. It not only prepares children academically for the future but also imparts values, strengthens personality, and social skills. I look forward to building on the existing structures together with Sabrina Storrer, the committed team, the parents, and the community – and to developing a school that strengthens, inspires, and supports our children on their journey.
Shaping School Together
We are both united by the desire to actively further develop the school – in dialogue with all involved. We rely on trust, transparent communication, professional collaboration, and a shared goal: to offer the children in Münchwilen a school where they can learn with joy, develop, and start life strongly.
We are very much looking forward to this new task!
