Nursing Unit Manager (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Professional, personnel and organisational management of a dedicated team of around 40 employees, including trainees, focusing on promoting motivation, team spirit and appreciative collaboration.
• Active participation in shaping and implementing the strategic and operational development of the nursing department to ensure modern and high-quality nursing services.
• Development and introduction of innovative processes for quality assurance that strengthen sustainable and future-oriented nursing concepts.
• Responsibility for forward-looking and efficient duty planning as well as individual support for the professional and personal development of team members.
• Assuming daily responsibility and occasional involvement in direct care to ensure practical and exemplary leadership.
• Further development and implementation of lean management principles on the ward to optimise workflows and increase efficiency.
• Committed participation in interdisciplinary projects and working groups to actively promote continuous improvement of patient care.

Our Requirements

• Completed diploma as a nursing specialist HF/FH or a comparable qualification recognised by the SRK.
• Extensive experience in acute care, providing you with comprehensive expertise and confidence in everyday nursing.
• Initial leadership experience is desirable but not mandatory – what matters is your motivation to take responsibility and develop further in a leadership role.
• Ideally, you have already completed leadership training (e.g. Leadership) or are willing to actively undertake it.
• You convince with a confident, proactive manner as well as an empathetic and appreciative leadership style.
• Your passion lies in team leadership, continuous development and constructive collaboration in an interprofessional environment.
