Production Supervisor 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

About the position

As a Production Supervisor, you take on the leadership of the production staff as well as the special functions within your shift. You plan and control the production processes, coordinate collaboration with internal support units, and ensure a smooth, safe, and high-quality production operation. In doing so, you combine leadership skills with technical understanding and a solution-oriented approach.

What you can achieve

• Leadership of the production staff and special functions such as quality operators, maintenance operators, and production technicians within the shift, as well as planning short- and medium-term personnel deployment
• Planning, organising, and controlling production during your own shift as well as forecasting expected production volumes for subsequent shifts
• Ensuring a qualified shift handover and transparent communication of the current production status
• Ensuring the quality of work and workflows according to applicable regulations and processes, as well as operating the relevant control systems and ERP systems
• Coordinating and prioritising all measures to secure production in collaboration with the CIP team, maintenance, quality, factory IT, logistics, as well as process & product engineering, and initiating necessary escalation measures
• Organising and conducting internal training, courses, and team meetings for the continuous qualification of shift employees
• Actively driving continuous improvement measures such as CIP and 6S, as well as ensuring occupational safety, environmental protection, cleanliness, and order in production
• Active participation in production processes and promoting efficient, team-oriented collaboration within the shift

What you bring

• Completed technical basic training with many years of proven leadership experience as a shift supervisor in a technical environment or a higher technical college qualification with initial leadership experience as a shift supervisor
• Many years of proven experience in shift work
• Enjoyment in leading and collaborating in an intercultural environment with employees of different qualification levels
• Strong communication and social skills as well as the ability to convey information clearly and understandably to different interlocutors and qualification levels
• Technical understanding and a structured, solution-oriented working style in a dynamic production environment
• Very good German and good English skills
