Our Charger Operations Team consists of innovators, problem solvers, and leaders driving the future of sustainable transport. As a Remote Service Engineer, you diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair EV charging systems remotely, supporting Field Service Engineers and customers.
This role offers a path for development in Customer Success, Technical Leadership, or Post-Sale Project Management.

Your new responsibilities
- Coordination of on-site service activities, ensuring product inspection and functionality after service, and defining the scope of work for Field Engineers
- Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues with EV charging systems via phone, email, and remote access; point of contact for Field Service Engineers and customers; managing the process from initial troubleshooting to final resolution
- Escalation and management of cases from First Line Customer Support, accompanying these from start to finish and ensuring first-class service
- Applying creativity and technical expertise to solve complex problems remotely, ensuring timely resolution within SLA deadlines for key accounts
- Planning and supporting on-site deployments with service partners or Field Engineers, adapting solutions to regional needs
- Escalating issues to Tier 3 Support when necessary to ensure the right expertise
- Guiding First Line Customer Support teams and conducting training to empower others and strengthen the team
Your talents and experience
- Technical background: A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electromechanics, IT, or an equivalent qualification with practical experience in maintenance or planning of electrical installations.
- Communication skills: Fluent German and English with the ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural teams. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Independence and initiative: You are a proactive person who enjoys working autonomously and seeks learning and development opportunities in a dynamic environment.
- Curiosity and problem-solving: Solution-oriented mindset, eager to take on challenges.
- Adaptability and resilience: Ability to succeed in rapidly changing environments and adapt to new challenges.
