Portrait of the School/Institution
The Herzogenbuchsee school combines kindergarten and primary school in the centre of Oberaargau. Thanks to its location on the important transport axis between Bern and Olten, it is easily accessible and cares for children from Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 760 pupils attend the five school and five kindergarten locations, where they are supported by a dedicated and versatile team of teachers. In addition to regular lessons, the school also organises speech therapy and psychomotor offers for the surrounding schools in the region.

Tasks
You will take on a substitute position with a part-time workload in one of our 9 kindergartens. The kindergarten class is supervised by an experienced class teacher and you will complement their workload:
- from 24.11.2026 every Tuesday morning and afternoon, possibly Thursday morning
- Tuesday: 08:20 – 11:50, 13:30 – 15:15
- Thursday: 08:20 – 11:50
- End of the substitute position still unclear
Requirements
- You have training as a Cycle 1 teacher or are completing it
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate on equal terms with teachers and parents
