A field mission at the heart of a major project

As part of a major project, Securi360, a specialised brand of Securitas SA, is seeking an occupational safety officer to support the various phases of work and ensure a high level of prevention on site.

Purpose of the position

Your main mission is to prevent accidents and health hazards related to the work.

You ensure the identification of hazards, risk assessment, as well as the definition, coordination and monitoring of the necessary preventive measures. These are implemented according to the STOP principle: substitution, technical, organisational and individual measures.

Through your daily presence on site, you actively contribute to establishing a demanding, pragmatic and collaborative safety culture among all stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities

• Ensure regular presence on site and act as a reference for occupational safety matters.
• Identify hazards related to the different phases of work and co-activity situations.
• Carry out and update risk analyses before and during the execution of the work.
• Define preventive, technical, organisational and individual measures to eliminate or reduce risks.
• Verify the effective implementation of safety measures by companies and stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and compliance checks.
• Identify discrepancies, document observations and ensure follow-up of corrective actions until closure.
• Immediately report any situation presenting a significant risk and ensure the application of safety measures.
• Participate in the preparation of prevention plans, procedures, authorisations and instructions applicable to the work.
• Organise or lead safety inductions, briefings, awareness sessions and "toolbox meetings".
• Analyse accidents, incidents, near-misses and hazardous situations to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
• Work closely with project management, technical managers, external companies and operational teams.
• Produce reports, dashboards and indicators necessary for safety management.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the prevention system.

Your position

You are employed by Securitas SA and operate within a specialised Securi360 service dedicated to the project.

You work closely with the client, project governance and various partners. You must be able to enforce safety requirements firmly, discerningly and with a constructive approach.

Your profile

• Federal diploma as a specialist in occupational safety and health protection (STPS), recognised MSST specialist qualification or equivalent title.
• At least two years professional experience in a similar role.
• Experience in work supervision, construction, industry or complex technical environments is highly desirable.
• Very good knowledge of hazard identification, risk analysis and accident prevention.
• Good understanding of Swiss legal and regulatory requirements regarding occupational safety and health protection.
• Excellent observation skills and real ease on site.
• Autonomous, rigorous, organised and solution-oriented personality.
• Ability to communicate with technical, operational and managerial interlocutors.
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
• English proficiency is an asset.
• Comfortable with report writing and use of common IT tools.

Our conditions

• Workplace in Aubonne with start date on 1st December
• 95% position, Monday to Friday.
• Regular hours from 07:30 to 16:45, with a 1-hour lunch break.
• Salary paid over 13 months.
