About the job
The Cantonal Health Centre Appenzell ensures high-quality healthcare and care in old age for the population of Appenzell and Innerrhoden. An important aspect is covering the demand for inpatient beds for people who temporarily rely on professional care – whether during or after an acute illness, for short-term need of more intensive care, after an inpatient procedure in a central hospital, or to accompany in the final phase of life. This is made possible by the short-term and transitional care Sonnwendlig.
For our team, we are looking for an SRK Nursing Assistant from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Individual and resource-oriented care and nursing of our patients
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with general practitioners, therapists, and other specialist departments of the Cantonal Health Centre Appenzell
- Taking on nursing duties
We expect
- Completed training as an SRK Nursing Assistant
- Professional experience in long-term care is an advantage
- High social competence and quality awareness
- Flair in dealing with elderly people and people with dementia
- Enjoyment of independent working
- Good German language skills
- Good IT user skills
