The Educational Spaces & Media department in the Vice-Rectorate for Teaching supports faculties and lecturers in the digitalization of teaching, accompanies the introduction of new educational technologies at the University of Basel, and creates spaces for contemporary university teaching and learning.
Your tasks
- As Service Owner "UPGRADE your digital skills" you are responsible for the annual implementation of the eponymous course offering and its further development.
- In the area of Digital Literacies of educational technologies, you implement measures to strengthen digital literacies in the context of the AI initiative.
- You contribute to the development and implementation of project management standards in educational technologies and further develop ideas for digital infrastructure.
Your profile
- Master's degree, further training in higher education didactics is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of digital skills and AI in higher education as well as experience in the digital transformation of teaching
- Independent design of innovative learning environments and development of digital learning offerings, ideally with teaching experience in digital formats
- Experience in project management and confident handling of IT applications (including learning management systems)
- Experience in the use of agile methods and successful project implementation
- Target group-oriented communication, including of sensitive content
- Team-oriented, diversity-affine and interdisciplinary working style
- Creativity, willingness to experiment and structured approach
- Fluent German and English skills
- Professional experience (at least 5 years)
- Project management experience, especially in the area of digital skills
- Technical flair and experience in designing digital learning spaces as well as in handling digital learning and examination platforms in higher education
- Leadership experience is an advantage
