Tasks
We are looking for a teacher, a student of a teacher training college, or a person who is familiar with children to support a 4th grade class on Wednesday mornings. Depending on possibilities and the person, further support on Monday or Thursday mornings may be required. The form of support also depends on the person who applies (depending on the level of training, team teaching or classroom assistance will be agreed).
One of the tasks would be to accompany the class to sports on Wednesday mornings.
Your other tasks include:
- Assistance with everyday and non-teaching-related activities (e.g. accompanying the children to sports lessons, supervising pupils when arriving and leaving school).
- Supporting individual children with the aim of helping them manage school routines independently (e.g. behaviour during lessons, group or individual work).
- Supervising certain processes (e.g. group or individual work) and ensuring safety in various rooms (e.g. group rooms, corridors, playground).
- Administrative and logistical support during lessons (e.g. preparing classrooms, collecting pupil materials, etc.).
Requirements
- Due to the heterogeneity of the class, we prefer a person who holds a teaching diploma or is on the way to obtaining one. Alternatively, you have experience in the educational field.
- You are a committed, resilient, and humorous personality who enjoys working with children.
- You are motivated to accompany, promote, and support the children on their learning journey together with the teachers.
- You are willing to make agreements and collaborate within the class team and staff.
- You are flexible enough to support the teachers occasionally on a trip or an event in the evening.
We Offer
You will find a committed, open-minded, and helpful team at an innovative school.
We offer:
- Appreciative and collegial cooperation
- Support from a reliable and practice-oriented school management
- Modern infrastructure and contemporary teaching materials
- School social work, day school, and other supportive services
- Short decision-making paths and scope for creativity in teaching
Tolerance, respect, and appreciation shape our school culture. We look forward to welcoming you to our team.
Have we piqued your interest? Then we look forward to receiving your application.
Interviews are held continuously. The position can be filled as soon as we have found the right person.
