What is my role?

After thorough training, you will become a key person in operational procurement.

• You manage operational procurement and keep an eye on stocks, delivery dates, and open orders

• You consistently monitor deadlines and professionally handle complaints with suppliers

• You create and post cutting orders and correctly allocate materials to the respective orders

• You organise the smooth shipping of materials to external partners

• You maintain direct contact with suppliers - from order processing to resolving complaints

• You are the internal contact person for all departments regarding raw materials

• You obtain quotes for new projects and negotiate skilfully on prices and payment terms

• You maintain product master data in the ERP system and keep it up to date

• You critically analyse procurement processes and continuously develop them further

• You support inventory taking and take on further administrative tasks as needed

What do I need to be successful?

• You have completed a commercial or technical training - ideally with further training in the commercial field

• You bring an additional qualification in purchasing (e.g. as a purchasing specialist) or have acquired comparable know-how in practice

• You are familiar with the daily purchasing routine in a manufacturing company from your own experience

• You have already questioned, optimised processes and used digital tools in purchasing

• Technical contexts are not a closed book to you - you understand what you are purchasing

• You are confident in common IT applications, especially Microsoft Office
