For our bilingual nursery (FR - GER) EFIB in Bern, we are looking for a candidate to start at a mutually agreed date, a:

Bilingual Nursery Director FR-GER (40-50%)

Your mission:

• Ensure the optimal operation of the nursery in compliance with Babilou Group standards and legal requirements by providing quality services to the children and parents.

• Ensure the safety and psychological, emotional, and physical well-being of the child.

• Have a duty to alert on any breach of safety and well-treatment rules and a duty of prevention and protection of the child.

• Set the educational guidelines and ensure their application.

• Take all necessary measures to ensure the best occupancy rate of the nursery and oversee the daily optimization of the ratio of children per group versus the number of staff present.

• Motivate team members to give their best and cultivate a strong team spirit.

• Work closely with the group’s headquarters and manage the financial and HR aspects of your nursery. You will be responsible for independently monitoring and managing your budget.

Your profile:

• Bilingual French / German.

• Diploma as a childhood educator or social educator.

• Skills in administrative management.

• Proficiency in common computer tools.

• Experience in team management.

• Diploma in educational institution management considered an asset; at minimum, willingness to undertake training in the short term.
