Tasks/Responsibilities
What you will achieve:
- Masonry: Provision of refractory deliveries (crucibles, distributors, furnace vessels, etc.) for the steel plant in a timely and demand-oriented manner while complying with cost, quality, environmental, and safety requirements.
Logistics:
Provision of consumables and operating materials in the steel plant in a timely and demand-oriented manner while complying with cost, quality, environmental, and safety requirements.
Operation of the slag crane and organization of the recycling centerTechnical and disciplinary deputy management of the department
- Technical support of machines and materials as well as creating and accompanying test protocols
- Documentation and creation of cost diagrams and technical records
- Maintenance of the time recording system for the department
- Initiating and implementing a continuous improvement process (CIP) in the work area regarding cost efficiency, quality aspects, and occupational safety (idea contribution and implementation)
Skills
You inspire us:
- Completed vocational training as a mason EFZ / refractory foreman is an advantage
- Good professional knowledge of refractory deliveries in the steel plant or similar
- Leadership experience in a similar function, preferably in an industrial environment
- Good IT skills such as SAP and MS Office
- Good German and English skills in spoken and written form are an advantage
- Winning and team-oriented personality, high resilience and assertiveness
- Pragmatic working style, doer mentality
- Forklift and crane license is an advantage
