Head of Reception

To complete the team of Hotellerie Spital Thurgau, we are looking for a Head of Reception from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement.

Head of Reception

You will take on

• Responsibility for the Reception department of the Cantonal Hospital Frauenfeld, including planning, organisation and further development of all processes within your area of responsibility
• Leading 9 employees
• Relieving and supporting the team in the operational day-to-day business
• Receiving and handling enquiries at the reception and on the telephone
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail
• Recording and maintaining patient data in SAP
• Sale of care utensils
• Implementation of various emergency concepts
• Monitoring and intervention using various technical systems
• End-of-day cash register closing
• Support in shift work 7x24, 365 days a year including early and late shifts as well as occasional night shifts

You bring with you

• EFZ qualification in the commercial field or as a hotel specialist (or equivalent). Further training and professional experience in the hospital sector are an advantage
• Several years of leadership experience in reception and administration
• Reliable, friendly and open personality with a strong service orientation
• Structured working method, pronounced quality awareness and interest in the hospital sector
• Confident appearance with good leadership skills and communication skills in interdisciplinary exchange
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Solid PC user skills
• Willingness to work regular weekend and public holiday shifts and occasional night shifts
