Skills

Law degree (lic.iur. or MLaw) and 2+ years of experience.
Strong knowledge of public, data protection, and contract law.
Analytical mindset with a reliable, team-oriented personality.

About the job

For over 200 years, the GVZ Building Insurance of the Canton of Zurich has insured all buildings in the canton against fire and natural hazard damage and is committed to protecting people, animals, and property through prevention and intervention. Through our commitment to fire protection, natural hazard prevention, and fire brigades, we ensure greater safety in the Canton of Zurich.

We are looking for a dedicated person from 1 November 2026, limited to nine months, as

How you can contribute with us

Independent handling of legal remedy procedures, especially objections as well as appeals and complaints
Collaboration in ensuring data protection and processing data disclosures
Drafting and editing contracts and legal texts
Support in the execution of recourse claims
Handling general legal questions

What you bring with you

Completed law degree (lic.iur. or MLaw)
At least two years of practical experience as a lawyer, ideally in a law firm or at a court
Good basic knowledge of public law, data protection law, contract law, and preferably non-contractual liability law
Quick comprehension as well as precise, analytical, and independent working style
Reliable and team-oriented personality
