About the job
About the Position
As an assembler in the performance laboratory, you can expect a varied and technically demanding role. As a technically skilled all-rounder, you will strengthen our high-performance laboratory and support tests on circuit breakers. You are responsible for ensuring that the circuit breakers are manufactured and installed according to customer requirements. Proper inspection after the tests is also part of your duties. In addition to tests in our own laboratory, you will also accompany tests in external laboratories if required.
What You Can Achieve
- Assembly of test objects across the entire spectrum of high-voltage switching devices
- Conducting inspections of test objects after completion of tests
- Setting up test arrangements before tests and dismantling them afterwards
- Supporting the maintenance of test equipment
- Proper handling of insulating gas filling and extraction systems
- Coordinating work with customers and internal specialist departments
- Supporting tests in the in-house laboratory and, if necessary, in external laboratories
- Careful and safety-conscious execution of work in compliance with applicable regulations and quality requirements
What You Bring
- Completed mechanical vocational training (EFZ) or a comparable qualification
- Technical understanding and manual dexterity as well as enjoyment of a varied role in a technically demanding environment
- Experience in the safe operation of simple crane systems, forklifts, pedestrian trucks and aerial work platforms is an advantage
- Good knowledge of reading and understanding construction drawings as well as a high quality awareness
- High safety awareness and consistent adherence to safety regulations
- Willingness to work flexible hours without shift work as well as an independent, reliable and team-oriented working style
