Our client is an established, internationally active industrial company with around 40 employees. The company develops, produces and sells technically sophisticated special solutions for various industrial applications. The products are used, among other things, in demanding areas such as the pharmaceutical, food and process industries and are distributed worldwide. The Customer Service and Support department is an important part of the company and is characterised by a high level of customer orientation and technical expertise. To strengthen the team of around six people, we are looking for a reliable, team-oriented and independently working personality.
Industrial Mechanic/Assembly Technician 100% (m/f/d) - When others just shake their heads, you really get going
Your tasks- Performing a variety of mechanical tasks such as turning, drilling, milling and other machining processes as well as welding work
- Assembly and commissioning of mechanical assemblies and components
- Assembly and processing of rotating components including carrying out measurement, testing and quality controls
- Support with overhauls, repairs and replacement of machine components
- Analysis and rectification of predominantly mechanical faults
- Carrying out maintenance, servicing and repair work on machines and technical systems
- Performing other mechanical tasks in cooperation with internal specialists, manufacturers and external partners
- Occasional support with service assignments at home and abroad, if interested and suitably qualified
- Completed training as a polymechanic, machine mechanic, machine fitter, assembly mechanic or a comparable technical qualification
- Several years of professional experience in machine and plant maintenance as well as in mechanical assembly
- Experience with rotating machines and components is an advantage
- Practical experience in service and repair is desirable
- Good knowledge of German and French
- Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style
- Flexibility, initiative and enjoyment of varied technical tasks
- You are a hands-on practitioner with broad mechanical expertise and like to get stuck in yourself
