About the job
Are you studying speech therapy and would like to gain first-hand experience of the daily work routine in a rehabilitation clinic as part of your internship? This internship offers you the opportunity to gain practical insights into speech therapy in a clinical setting.
Your tasks
- In therapy: Getting to know and implementing assessment, diagnostics, planning of therapy sequences, and execution.
- Observations and taking over therapy sequences: Individual and group therapies (e.g. speech, articulation, voice and swallowing therapy)
- Interprofessional collaboration: Observation and participation in the interprofessional team (speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nursing as well as other therapeutic and medical disciplines)
Requirements:
- Speech therapy students: Interest in the clinical field / adult sector
- Internship duration: HfH: Observation internship (10 days), Internship 3 (40 days), Internship 4 (60 days) / FHNW: Internship 2 and 3 (300h) / Students from other universities of applied sciences may be considered in exceptional cases.
- Personal skills: High social competence, motivation, interest as well as good self-organisation
