The Zurich forest is a recreational area for the population, a habitat for flora and fauna, and the fourth largest timber producer in Switzerland. During the apprenticeship as a Forest Ranger EFZ, we teach you all the important tasks related to the care of the forests in the Canton of Zurich.
What you will learn with us
You will learn all the tasks required for forest management and care. For this, you bring a good sense for nature and its habitats. We will show you the correct handling of machines and small equipment, such as the chainsaw. You will also learn the proper maintenance of the equipment.
