Job Description
Our client, a leading technology company in the Zurich area, is looking for a passionate professional for production. Are you passionate about CAM programming and complex CNC processes? Are you proficient with Siemens and Heidenhain controls on state-of-the-art equipment? Do you want to actively shape the industrialisation of new products? Then we are looking for you as:
Polymechanic CNC Specialist (m/f/d) 80-100%
- You programme and optimise CNC milling and turning processes (as well as EDM processes) and keep the programmes always up to date
- You are responsible for the industrialisation and documentation of new components and safely commission them on the machines
- You actively drive continuous process optimisation through lean methods such as KVP, 5S and SMED
- You accompany the mechanical development of new products in close cooperation with R&D and the Industrial Engineering department
- You take on project responsibility for the evaluation of new machines, maintenance and technical infrastructure
- You provide tools and fixtures and hand over the complete documentation to production
- You train production staff and act as a competent 2nd level support for technical problems
Qualifications
- You have a basic education as a polymechanic and solid CAM experience, ideally complemented by technical further education at HF/FH level
- You are proficient in handling Siemens and Heidenhain controls
- You are very familiar with machines from Hermle, Nakamura, HAAS or Chiron
- You have a flair for efficient processes and ideally already have prior knowledge in lean management and 5S
- You enjoy taking responsibility in projects – from the new machine to the entire infrastructure
- You work logically, analytically and very independently, setting priorities correctly even in hectic times
- You convince as a team-oriented personality and master German fluently as well as English at a good level
