The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet, and Dreilinden, around 260 employees shape everyday life in our homes. Deputy Team Leader Restaurant Park 80%
For the restaurant of our retirement and nursing home at the Heinrichsbad location, we are looking for an engaged and responsible personality as of now or by arrangement:
Your demanding and varied tasks:
- Deputy management and organization of the restaurant with garden terrace and banquet area
- Ensuring a friendly, respectful, and professional guest service towards residents, relatives, and external guests
- Active participation in service with advice and guest care
- Support in offer and banquet planning as well as all administrative tasks
- Organization of training sessions in the service area
- Assistance with events, celebrations, and special occasions in the house
- Close cooperation with other departments
Our requirements:
- Completed training in gastronomy/service or several years of professional experience
- First leadership experience in the service area is mandatory
- Enjoyment of working with elderly people
- Strong quality and hygiene awareness
- Teamwork skills and high social competence
- Resilience as well as flexibility and willingness to perform
- Willingness to work regular weekends and public holidays
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- Solid IT skills
