Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Northern Liaison Psychiatry Unit (UPL), attached to the Northern Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPAN), is part of the PLiNO postgraduate training institution, recognized for advanced training in consultation and liaison psychiatry up to 2 years (category D2-CL). It is also recognized as a training site in psychiatry and psychotherapy (category C – 2 years).

These institutions have 375 A beds, including 20 intensive care beds, as well as 44 B beds.
For several years, the UPL has been heavily involved in the regional psychiatric emergency response system, an inter-institutional model supported by the General Directorate of Health of the State of Vaud. In this context, the UPL coordinates and manages the reception, detection, and orientation of patients hospitalized in somatic emergency services, intensive care units, as well as those evaluated by the somatic mobile teams of the CMS.

- You provide specialized outpatient consultations for patients presenting psychosomatic issues
