Childcare Specialist

Children discover the world, driven by their curiosity - attentively accompanied by us. At the heart of our care duties is the child’s welfare. Each child is perceived by us as a holistic being in their personality and independence with their basic needs. The daycare centre of Insel Gruppe offers employees on the Insel campus childcare options for their preschool children. We have a total of 76 full-time places and currently care for around 120 children in five mixed-age groups.

What to expect

• Holistic care: Loving, family-complementing and professional care of young children (4 months to 4 years) in one of five mixed-age groups.
• Daily routine: Designing a varied, structured and needs-oriented daily schedule as well as promoting child development.
• Educational partnership: Constructive, trusting collaboration with parents as well as active communication within the team.
• Observation & documentation: Development documentation in the portfolio - accompanying developmental steps and co-organising group activities.

What you bring

• Qualification: Completed training as a childcare specialist (FaBeK) or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland.
• Professional experience: Experience in family-complementing childcare and enjoyment in working with infants and young children.
• Personality: High social competence, empathy, reliability and flexibility in the daycare everyday life.
• Team spirit: Enthusiasm for working in an open, dynamic and multicultural environment.
