Apprentice Electrician (a)

For August 2027, we offer you a challenging apprenticeship position in the Real Estate Department within a fascinating research environment.


Your tasks

Working at an ETH research institute brings a lot of variety to everyday professional life. The diverse and exciting tasks in our infrastructure on the Dübendorf campus in an international environment guarantee young people a varied apprenticeship.

Close to research and development, you are part of our support team and help maintain the infrastructure in all buildings on the campus. With an apprenticeship as an electrician, you create connections from distribution boards via measuring and switching points to the energy consumer. In addition, you are involved in the maintenance of our various communication and signalling networks and ensure the rectification of faults.


Your profile

Secondary school is soon history and you will complete it with good grades in mathematics, geometry and physics. Your interest in technology and electrical engineering, combined with your sense for practical and theoretical contexts, supports you during your apprenticeship. You have a quick grasp and a good memory, enjoy manual work and are persistent. We also appreciate diligence and reliability as well as a sense of responsibility and conscientious work. Last but not least, normal colour vision is a must.
