Job description
As part of the research project 'Transferability of didactic engineering products in physical education (TRANSPOSITION.ch)' funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Geneva (FPSE) is opening an application for a PhD Candidate (CANDOC) position in the field of physical education didactics.
In collaboration with PH Zurich, the University of Fribourg, and SUPSI, the TRANSPOSITION.ch research project aims to evaluate under which conditions the learning opportunities offered to students can be preserved or even enhanced during the implementation in the cantons of Geneva, Zurich, Fribourg, and Ticino of curricular resources produced in a previous project (PROJEPS).
The position offered is a 75% CANDOC position for four years involving the completion of a doctoral thesis at FPSE. The CANDOC will contribute to the collection and analysis of data for the TRANSPOSITION.ch project. He/she will develop a personal thesis project around a specific aspect of the project.

Title and required skills
- Master's degree in movement and sport sciences, educational sciences, physical education and sport didactics, or an equivalent qualification
- Skills and interest in academic work
- Autonomy to complete a demanding research project
- Interpersonal skills and ability to integrate into an intercantonal and multilingual research team
- Fluency in French and at least passive knowledge of German
- Availability and motivation to travel across Switzerland
- Teaching experience and knowledge of Italian are assets
