We are looking for an Investment and Maintenance Strategy Manager – Reserve Power Plant for our Production department
Your mission:
As part of the Asset Management sector, you consolidate, formalise and lead the investment and maintenance strategy for part of our facilities, in particular Thermatel, operated as a reserve power plant for the Confederation.
Based on the orientations and needs identified during contract negotiation, you deepen the existing roadmap and ensure its updating. You translate it into a coherent and prioritised portfolio of investment and maintenance projects, taking into account the condition of the facilities, their life cycle, risks, availability requirements and performance objectives.
You then supervise the implementation of the strategy in collaboration with operations, maintenance, project managers and various technical specialists.
Your activities:
- Consolidate and formalise the investment and maintenance strategy developed during contract negotiation
- Regularly update this strategy based on the condition of the facilities, feedback, evolving risks and needs
- Translate strategic orientations into a multi-year technical and financial roadmap
- Build, prioritise and manage the multi-year portfolio of major investments and maintenance works
- Identify and assess investment needs based on technical, operational, safety, environmental and economic risks
- Define objectives, priorities, provisional budgets and deadlines for various projects
- Ensure project coherence with industrial strategy, Asset Management principles and applicable installation requirements
- Mandate and support project managers responsible for investment realisation
- Supervise the technical, financial and temporal progress of the portfolio and anticipate deviations or risks
- Arbitrate priorities between maintenance, renewal, performance improvement and equipment life extension
- Define and monitor indicators related to reliability, availability, life cycle costs and asset condition
- Contribute to risk analyses, sustainability studies and decisions on renewal or improvement of facilities
- Ensure close coordination with the Head of the department in charge of operations, maintenance, Project Management sector and other stakeholders
- Prepare summaries and recommendations enabling decision-making bodies to arbitrate investments
- Promote feedback, standardisation and continuous improvement of Asset Management practices
You have:
- A higher education degree such as an engineer, ideally in mechanical, electrical, energy, industrial fields or equivalent
- Proven experience in Asset Management, managing an investment portfolio or maintenance of complex industrial facilities
- A good understanding of issues related to life cycle, reliability and availability of equipment
- Experience in developing and managing multi-year investment plans
- Ability to analyse risks, establish priorities and formulate structured recommendations
- Strong skills in planning, budget monitoring and coordination of technical stakeholders
- Excellent ability to structure and synthesise complex information
- Good sense of collaboration and ability to work in a cross-functional organisation
- Strong results orientation, risk management and continuous improvement
- Very good command of French, both spoken and written; knowledge of German is an advantage
