Risk Manager (m/f/d)

Your Area of Responsibility

• You actively shape and develop the qualitative and quantitative risk management of Pax and influence its strategic direction.
• You are responsible for the ORSA process end-to-end and ensure an effective linkage of risk, capital, and business planning.
• You design and manage stress tests and scenario analyses and derive well-founded recommendations for corporate management.
• You continuously develop ESG and liquidity risk management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• You are responsible for the further development of the framework for operational risks and the Internal Control System (ICS).
• You coordinate risk and control assessments, manage the incident reporting process, and ensure meaningful risk reporting.
• You represent risk management to internal and external stakeholders and advise management on risk-related issues.

Your Experience

• University degree in Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics, or a comparable field with a quantitative focus.
• Several years of experience in risk management within an insurance company with in-depth knowledge of SST, ORSA, and ALM.
• Practical experience in conducting stress tests, scenario analyses, and handling sustainability and climate risks.
• Solid know-how in operational risk management, ICS, and collaboration with audit and supervisory authorities.
• Experience in using data analysis, digitalisation, and AI solutions to increase efficiency and further develop risk management processes.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to communicate complex matters appropriately to the target audience.
• Very good German and English skills; French skills are a plus.
