About the job
Based in the Fribourg region, we are a family business since 1946. As a leader in the distribution and dissemination of books and multimedia products in French-speaking Switzerland, we are committed to making them present and visible in the widest variety of locations.
To strengthen our French distribution department team, we are looking for a sales representative at 40 to 60%. Our French distribution department's mission is to promote and sell publishing portfolios to all book market players in French-speaking Switzerland.
Your mission
- Contact with publishers responsible for presenting new programmes
- Organisation of presentation tours of programmes and follow-up with all clients in French-speaking Switzerland
- Preparation of programmes and presentation of new releases and backlist, proposals for commercial operations and book signings
- Coordination with our management to define new order volumes and annual stock follow-up (reduction)
- Regular exchanges with the sales management on market and activity developments
- Participation in organising internal or external events
Your profile
- Bookshop apprenticeship certificate (CFC)
- 2-3 years of experience in a bookshop
- Fluent spoken and written French with excellent writing skills
- Good knowledge of common IT tools
- Organised, rigorous, independent
- Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating team spirit
- Dynamic, innovative and flexible
