About the job
The St.Gallen municipal utilities are the reliable partner for the population and economy of the city of St.Gallen as well as partly the region in the supply of energy, water and fibre optics. For the Water, Gas and Heat sector, Operations Department, we are looking for an
Electrical Technician Maintenance and Operations (m/f/d) 80 - 100%
We actively shape the energy transition and are looking for a motivated individual who wants to help shape this change.
Your responsibilities
- Ensuring the functionality and operational safety of all electrical systems for gas and water supply in the supply area of the St.Gallen municipal utilities and the facilities of the Regional Water Supply St.Gallen AG (RWSG)
- Maintenance, repair and overhaul work on electrical systems
- Troubleshooting and ensuring smooth operation
- Independently carrying out smaller electrical installations and controls
- Accompanying external companies during larger installations
- Creating test protocols according to NIV and updating documentation
Your profile
- Completed training as an electrical installer with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
- Several years of practical experience, ideally as an operations electrician
- Fulfilment of the requirements for an Art. 13 NIV permit or already in possession of a corresponding permit
- Experience with system controls (PLC advantageous)
- Independent, reliable and team-oriented working style
- Driving licence category B and residence in St.Gallen or surrounding area
