As Head of Warehousing & Distribution, you will assume professional and personnel responsibility for our entire warehousing and distribution logistics. You will lead and develop a committed team, continuously optimise our processes in a GMP-regulated environment, and act as a global competence partner for all warehousing matters.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Professional and personnel leadership of the Warehousing & Distribution department at the headquarters (HQ)
• Overall responsibility for compliance with all logistics processes in a GMP/GDP-regulated environment
• Ensuring timely supply to all production sites in Switzerland
• Continuous optimisation, coordination, and further development of warehousing and distribution processes
• Close collaboration with local and global supply chain functions
• Leadership, promotion, and development of employees within your own team
• Development and implementation of the department strategy as well as continuous advancement of the area of responsibility
• Preparation of reports as well as analysis and monitoring of relevant key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Global competence partner for warehousing and storage processes
• Creation and implementation of process workflows and SOPs for the operation of the new automated high-bay warehouse
• Responsibility for the commissioning and successful ramp-up of the new automated high-bay warehouse

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of professional and leadership experience in warehouse logistics of an internationally operating company in a regulated GMP environment
• Completed vocational training as well as advanced training focusing on warehouse logistics, supply chain, or logistics management
• Solid experience in operating automated high-bay warehouses (HRL)
• Knowledge and practical experience in lean management and continuous improvement processes
• Experience in project and process management as well as in automated intralogistics
• Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and good commercial understanding
• Hands-on mentality with high initiative, sense of responsibility, and pragmatic working style
• High IT affinity and very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, especially in the MM and SD modules
• Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
