As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated Senior DevOps Engineer for a temporary assignment until 31.12.2026, with high probability of extension.

In a global, cross-functional environment, the PCR Software Development chapter is responsible for developing and maintaining integrated, unified, and reliable software solutions for Molecular Diagnostics Systems. By leveraging advanced capabilities, in-depth knowledge, and strong internal and external partnerships, Roche drives accuracy, efficiency, and agility in innovating the Molecular Lab experience for customers and patients throughout their journey.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines, infrastructure, and documentation by applying in-depth technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for medical software
- Drive the timely delivery of stable, secure, and scalable systems, meeting organizational standards and customer requirements while enabling faster development cycles and improved reliability
- Enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and performance by prioritizing informed decision-making
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous learning within and across diverse and intercultural teams
- Empower team members to take ownership of their work and lead by example to foster teamwork and mentorship
- Work independently within guidelines and policies, receiving minimal guidance
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a specialized field related to DevOps development or engineering
- Proven experience in DevOps with one or more technologies (e.g., Git, containerization, virtualization, CI/CD pipeline)
- Capable of solving complex issues creatively and effectively, using a multi-faceted approach based on thorough analysis to resolve complex technical challenges
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to foster an inclusive environment and collaborate effectively within and across teams
- Motivation to make an impact for fellow team members, the company, customers, and patients
- Fosters trust and mutual respect within the chapter and across functions
