THE MULTI-SKILLED MECHANIC PROFESSION

The multi-skilled mechanic with a Federal VET Certificate (CFC) manufactures, assembles and repairs high-precision mechanical parts and assemblies using conventional and CNC machine tools. At TMR, they contribute to the maintenance of railway rolling stock as well as the upkeep of technical equipment. Based on technical drawings, they carry out machining operations, adjust and programme machines, then check the quality of the produced parts. They also participate in the assembly, disassembly and overhaul of mechanical components, respecting tolerances, quality requirements and safety rules. Thanks to their technical expertise, they contribute to the reliability, availability and safety of vehicles and installations.

PROCESS

1. Submit a complete application file (cover letter, CV, report card)

2. Are you preselected? Time for immersion

If your application is preselected, you will be invited to participate in a three-day immersion internship at TMR SA. This experience will allow you to concretely discover your future work environment, meet the teams and familiarise yourself with the profession and the training offered.

3. Highlight your qualities and motivation

At the end of these three days, TMR SA evaluates the applications and makes its decision.

4. Final step: welcome to the adventure!

Once all validations are obtained, you will be able to sign your engagement contract with TMR.
