About the job
What to expect
- You work in interdisciplinary and agile teams on modern cloud, platform, and software solutions. Depending on the project, you support platform teams in building cloud-native platforms or are part of a development team supporting the DevOps role in the development and operation of software applications. In doing so, you take responsibility throughout the entire lifecycle according to DevOps principles.
- You develop, automate, and operate modern infrastructure and deployment platforms based on Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
- You design and implement CI/CD pipelines as well as infrastructure-as-code solutions and drive automation and standardisation forward.
- You work closely with software engineers, architects, product owners, and customers, contributing your expertise in cloud, DevOps, and platform topics.
- You support our customers in adopting modern engineering practices such as DevOps, GitOps, Platform Engineering, and Cloud Native Development.
- Depending on your seniority, you take responsibility for technical topics, support knowledge building within the team, and actively shape our offering.
What you bring
- A degree from a university of applied sciences, ETH, or university in computer science or a comparable practical education.
- Several years of experience in DevOps, cloud, platform, or software engineering projects.
- Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift as well as containerised applications.
- Experience with tools and technologies in the areas of CI/CD, GitOps, infrastructure as code, and automation (e.g. GitLab, GitHub Actions, Tekton, Argo CD, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, or Azure DevOps).
- Good Linux knowledge and enthusiasm for automating and operating systems.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of agile development models and DevOps principles.
- High customer orientation, initiative, and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams.
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills.
Advantageous - Experience in software development with one or more modern programming languages such as Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus), .NET, or Python.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
