HR Assistant for the DAF - DDIR - DINF - DFR Departments
To ensure the coordination and administrative support of the HR team in charge of four transversal departments of the CHUV, we are looking for a human resources assistant at an activity rate of 80% to 100%, on a permanent contract. The starting date is scheduled for 1 November 2026 or to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The HR team supports four transversal departments of the CHUV, representing a scope of nearly 2,100 employees:
- The Administrative and Financial Directorate (DAF) ensures the financial and administrative management of the institution
- The Directorate Department (DDIR) brings together the directorates that contribute to the development and implementation of the institutional strategy
- The Infrastructure Department (DINF) includes activities related to information systems, construction, engineering, technical services and security
- The Training and Research Department (DFR) supports and develops the academic, training and research activities of the CHUV, in close collaboration with UNIL.
Within this scope, the Human Resources Unit advises and supports line managers and employees on all HR issues. It also contributes to development and organisational evolution projects, in line with the institutional policy of the CHUV HR Department.
Mission
- You participate in the administrative follow-up of the employee life cycle, in accordance with HR management rules, procedures and standards
- You assist HR advisors in the recruitment process and ensure the associated administrative follow-up
- You handle administrative tasks related to the activities of the HR unit
- You inform and support employees in their human resources-related questions
- You actively contribute to the development and improvement of the HR unit's activities.
Profile
- You hold a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification, complemented by an HR manager certificate
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in human resources
- You have good knowledge of the legislation and regulations in force within the Vaud Cantonal Administration (LPers/RLPers)
- You possess excellent writing skills and master common office tools
- You are dynamic, flexible and have excellent interpersonal skills
- You work autonomously while demonstrating a strong team spirit and excellent communication skills
- You are organised, precise and rigorous and pay particular attention to the quality of your work as well as meeting deadlines.
Depending on the candidate's profile, the salary class is between levels 6 and 7.
