We are advertising to strengthen our team in the Accounting department, located in Colombier, in the municipality of Milvignes, the position of:
Accounting Specialist
Your responsibilities
- Control the closing and prepare the usual documents.
- Support the manager in activities related to the accounting service.
- Ensure the production of legal statistics (BNS and FINMA).
- Participate in the optimisation and development of the service and its processes.
- Participate in analytical accounting activities aimed at strengthening cost control.
- Develop the areas of regulation and accounting systems.
Your profile
- Completed higher education in Switzerland in the accounting field or currently pursuing it. (Certificate, Bachelor)
- Proven experience in a similar role of at least 5 years or a background in an audit firm in Switzerland with transferable skills and a desire to invest yourself in the banking sector.
- Native French speaker; German will be considered a real advantage.
- Excellent command of common IT tools (MS Office).
- Good knowledge and advanced use of ABACUS, FiRE and Finnova software (an asset).
- Knowledge of banking accounting standards (an asset).
