About the position
As part of strengthening its Quality Control laboratory, our partner based in Geneva is seeking an experienced Chemical Quality Control Technician to perform analyses and ensure product compliance in a demanding and regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Your responsibilities
- Receive samples and verify their integrity before analysis.
- Perform quality control analyses on raw materials, intermediate products, finished products, stability studies, validations and utilities.
- Review analytical data and verify the conformity of results according to current procedures.
- Ensure traceability, accuracy and integrity of generated data.
- Participate in investigations related to deviations, OOS, OOT and non-conformities.
- Carry out maintenance, cleaning, periodic qualifications and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Manage reagents, solutions, reference standards and consumables necessary for the proper functioning of the laboratory.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and optimisation of laboratory activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with GMP requirements, quality procedures and HSE rules.
Profile sought
- Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent scientific discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Chemical Quality Control, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotechnological or chemical industry.
- Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, dissolution, titration or similar techniques.
- Experience in reviewing analytical data and documentation in a regulated environment.
- Team spirit, rigour, organisational skills and ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Good level of French; English is an advantage.
