• As head of department, you take on the professional, personnel and organisational leadership of the boarding school for children and adolescents and continuously develop the area together with the department management and the head of the school department in participatory collaboration.
• You support and empower committed group leaders and their teams in their daily work and promote appreciative, solution-oriented cooperation.
• You ensure the quality of support for our children and adolescents and are responsible for key processes such as support planning, parent and authority work, as well as case management and crisis interventions.
• You manage operational processes, resources and budgets proactively and ensure the implementation of strategic and operational goals.
• Through your involvement in projects, concept work and the extended management team, you contribute to the further development of HPZS and successful interdisciplinary collaboration.

• A qualification as a social pedagogue, remedial educator (FH/HF) or care specialist with appropriate additional training forms the basis for this responsible role.
• Ideally, you already have leadership training or corresponding leadership experience as well as several years of practical experience in the social pedagogical field.
• You convince with a reflective leadership personality, organisational talent, assertiveness as well as the ability to support, promote and inspire employees for common goals.
• A networked way of thinking, high social competence and the willingness to reflect on your own actions enable you to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to professional and organisational development as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration complete your profile.
