About the job
The Elderly Care and Nursing department of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services primarily for older people, with five care homes and the Spitex service.
Our interprofessional therapy team consists of nine physiotherapists, four occupational therapists, two coordinators, and students. At all five locations, we treat patients from the fields of geriatrics, orthopaedics, internal medicine, neurology, and psychiatry. Together, we support patients and residents in various life and care situations, from transitional and long-term care to outpatient services. We work closely with nursing staff, doctors, and other professional groups.

Your Responsibilities
- Independent planning, implementation, and evaluation of inpatient and outpatient therapies
- Active exchange within the interprofessional team with other professional groups
- Participation in interdisciplinary reports and discussions
- Administrative tasks (appointment scheduling, treatment documentation, report writing, coordination of prescriptions, etc.)
- Occasional supervision of ZHAW students
Your Profile
- Completed training as a physiotherapist (BSc), with appropriate SRK recognition for foreign diplomas
- You are motivated to treat and support older people in an evidence-based, goal- and resource-oriented manner
- You work in a structured and independent way
- You are a flexible, responsible, and team-oriented individual
- You enjoy developing interdisciplinary collaboration
- You have good IT user skills (MS Office) and written and spoken German language skills
