Finance Team Leader – Financial Accountant (a)

We are a successful, internationally active company in the fruit and vegetable sector. Our corporate culture is characterised by flexibility, openness and adaptability. In all our activities, the customers are at the centre. Our finance team urgently needs a committed leader, either immediately or by arrangement. In this key role, you take responsibility for financial accounting and lead a small, well-coordinated team.
Your main tasks:
Leading and developing a team of two clerks
Responsibility for the general ledger and the interfaces to the subsidiary ledgers
Preparation of interim financial statements in cooperation with the CFO
Preparation of financial analyses for management
Monitoring of due date lists and dunning processes
Preparation and control of VAT returns (CH & abroad)
Monthly reconciliation of cash accounts and payment processing
Contact person for internal and external finance-related enquiries
Participation in projects to further develop the finance department
You bring with you:
Commercial apprenticeship with federal certificate or equivalent training, federal specialist training in finance & accounting advantageous, many years of experience in accounting (confident with financial statements)
At least 5 years of professional experience in finance/accounting
Solid leadership experience
IT affinity: experience with Abacus and MS Office
Independent, structured, reliable, precise and trustworthy
Fluent German, business fluent English, additional languages advantageous
