In the Department of Building Construction + Planning, we are looking to strengthen our team from September 1, 2025, or by arrangement, for you as Deputy Head of Department Building Permits.

Your tasks

• Consultation of builders, project authors, or authority members on building and planning law matters
• Assuming the deputy function of the head of department
• Administrative processing of building applications and preliminary decision applications
• Monitoring of conditions and preparation of follow-up decisions
• Taking over enforcement work in the building permit procedure
• Assistance and support in planning processes

Your profile

• Completed commercial basic training or comparable education, preferably in a municipal administration
• CAS public planning and construction or equivalent training or willingness to obtain it
• Experience in Zurich planning and building law as well as in building permit procedures
• Open-minded and service-oriented personality
• Independent, punctual, and structured way of working
• Fluent and audience-appropriate formulation in German (spoken and written)
