What is my role?

• Procurement of packaging materials on an international level

• Processing of offers and enquiries

• Management of the complaints process, liaison between suppliers and internal departments (quality assurance, production, logistics)

• Determination of material requirements in cooperation with internal departments (sales, production, etc.)

• Execution of purchasing-related tasks/activities using SAP R/3 MM

• Continuous collaboration with internal specialist departments throughout the entire procurement process

• Handling general purchasing correspondence in English and German

• Participation in the implementation of cost reduction measures and optimisation potentials

What do I need to be successful?

• Successfully completed commercial vocational training

• Several years of professional experience in purchasing within an industrial or food company

• Experience in packaging procurement is an advantage

• Experience with SAP R/3 MM is an advantage

• A reliable, structured and precise way of working

• Very good team and communication skills

• Independence, a strong sense of duty and diligence
