About the job
For the autism consultation of the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy in Aarau, we are looking for you from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement as
Tasks
- Under qualified supervision, you will learn to independently assess and treat patients suspected of having autism spectrum disorders (ASD)
- You will become familiar with common psychological testing methods and, under supervisory guidance and specialist medical final responsibility, carry out psychopharmacological adjustments, consultations and psychotherapies
- You will make diagnoses and assessments according to the valid diagnostic scheme and develop a plan of measures based on this
- You will participate in the clinic's emergency on-call duties
- You will prepare the necessary treatment documentation and specialist reports and fully invoice the services provided
Profile
- You have a Swiss medical diploma or an equivalent medical degree recognised by MEBEKO
- Ideally, you have prior experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, psychiatry or paediatrics
- You possess clinical competence, good interpersonal skills, analytical thinking and good written skills
- You demonstrate resilience and initiative in clinical practice and have good manners and a sense of humour
