Role:
In this role, you are responsible for establishing, developing, and leading the pelvic floor centre both professionally and organisationally, decisively shaping its strategic direction. You run your own clinic, actively participate in the operational programme, and contribute your expertise to the interdisciplinary pelvic floor board, especially in close collaboration with urology and surgery. Additionally, you lead and train doctors and engage in internal and external training events. Based on your specialist title in gynaecology and obstetrics with a focus on operative gynaecology and obstetrics, and ideally a subspecialty in urogynaecology, you shape the further development of urogynaecology and have the opportunity to apply or learn robot-assisted laparoscopies. You bring strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial thinking, resilience, enthusiasm for innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as very good German skills (at least C1), and maintain professional exchange with referring doctors.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you take overall medical leadership of pelvic floor medicine and ensure high-quality, guideline-compliant care.
- You are responsible for the cross-disciplinary expansion and continuous development of the medical services in the pelvic floor area.
- As Medical Lead Pelvic Floor Medicine, you coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration with gynaecology, urology, surgery, physiotherapy, and other specialties.
- You supervise and support medical colleagues and other professional groups in diagnostics, therapy planning, and aftercare.
- In this role, you are committed to quality management, outcome analysis, and the implementation of evidence-based treatment concepts.
- You represent the specialty internally and externally, participate in training and continuing education activities, and promote knowledge transfer within the team.
Qualifications:
- You have several years of professional experience at a professional level in a comparable role.
- You apply your expertise independently and responsibly in daily work.
- You analyse complex tasks in a structured manner and find practical solutions.
- You communicate clearly, professionally, and target-group oriented with internal and external contacts.
- You work reliably in a team, take responsibility, and contribute your own ideas constructively.
- You are willing to continuously expand your knowledge and develop professionally and personally.
