Job Description
Your main tasks will be as follows:
- Coordinate and monitor Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) activities in accordance with Swiss regulations.
- Carry out and update risk analyses and hazard assessments at workstations.
- Follow up on prevention/correction action plans and support operational managers.
- Manage chemical products: SDS, storage, use, risks and protective measures.
- Analyse accidents/incidents, identify causes and propose corrective measures.
- Advise teams on PPE, machinery, ergonomics and situations presenting particular hazards.
- Participate in OHS audits, training, drills and emergency management.
- Ensure documentary and regulatory follow-up and necessary exchanges with competent bodies/authorities.
Profile Sought
- Immediate/quick availability
- Training or qualification in Occupational Health & Safety / industrial safety.
- Good knowledge of Swiss OHS legislation and requirements (CFST 6508, SUVA, LTr/OLT, etc.).
- Significant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of chemical products and hazardous substances, including reading and use of SDS.
- Practical experience in risk analysis, accident prevention and implementation of corrective measures.
- Knowledge of main industrial risks: machinery, noise, ergonomics, handling, fire, etc.
- Ability to work independently and to be quickly operational within a 6-month assignment.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with field teams, management and external contacts.
