The Business Development Manager for the Pharma & Cosmetics segment will drive expansion of bNovate’s microbial water quality monitoring solutions within regulated production environments. The role focuses on identifying high-value opportunities, building strategic partnerships, supporting the sales cycle with technical understanding, and ensuring long-term customer success across pharmaceutical, biotech, personal-care and cosmetics manufacturing markets.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Development & Strategy

Analyse the pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetics, and personal-care manufacturing markets to identify trends, growth opportunities, and emerging customer needs.

Help develop and execute segment-specific go-to-market strategies.

Map regulatory landscapes (e.g., GMP, ISO standards).
Lead Generation

Identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities with manufacturers, research labs and technology integrators.

Represent bNovate at trade shows, scientific conferences, associations and industry events to expand visibility and generate new leads.

Provide trainings
Customer Engagement

Conduct meetings with QC managers, production engineers, microbiologists, and procurement teams to understand microbiological monitoring challenges.

Support customers through evaluation, pilot and trial implementation, validation, and scale-up phases.

Provide internally field feedback on competitor activities, pricing dynamics, and customer pain points.

Prepare commercial offers tailored to each customer’s process requirements, maintain long-term relationships and grow key accounts.

Mitigate potential conflicts with channel partners and OEMs pro-actively
YOUR PROFILE

Proven business development experience in pharma, biotech, or cosmetics manufacturing environments.

Familiarity with GMP, regulatory frameworks.

An understanding of the requirements for Ultrapure Water, Water-for-Injection and relevant Quality Control and In-Process-Control implications.

Interest in microbiology, automation and instrumentation.

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.

Ability to translate technical features into strategic value propositions (ROI, risk reduction, and operational value).

Technical knowledge to support product trials.

Strong commercial sense with the ability to influence complicated buying decisions and effectively close deals.
