-The Accounting and Consolidations Manager role performs accurate global consolidation, statutory reporting in applicable jurisdictions and technical accounting, as well as will supports Group and subsidiaries' financial reporting and accounting.
-This is a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial information, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
-The role ensures that the group provides effective, efficient and high quality consolidated financial information for internal/external reporting.
-All accounting information is to be delivered to support effective decision making, meet compliance standards, and meet external reporting requirements.
-Own and execute the monthly consolidation process timely and accurately
-Own preparation of consolidated IFRS primary financial statements, including statements of cash flows
-Tax activities
-Oversee and participate in the accounting activities for all legal entities
-Global Intercompany accounting
-Statutory reporting of Swiss legal entities and supervision of France, Iceland and HK statutory activities
-Drive productivity improvements on a continuous basis and achieve operational excellence against defined benchmarks, such as speed of close, number of manual entries.
-Management of 1 Senior Accountant
-IFRS financial reporting and consolidation
-Legal entity accounting and reporting

-Assume oversight of accounting and reporting operations for local legal entities and be responsible for timely and accurate book-keeping.
-Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures and all assigned internal controls are performed timely.
-Supervise and coach direct report(s) and create a positive working environment, enhancing cross-training and employee development.
Profile
-Bachelor in finance / accounting or business management
-8-10 years' experience in relevant finance/accounting roles
-Experience in multinational life sciences company required
-Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and Swiss statutory accounting standards
-Organizational aptitude to complete timely filing and record keeping tasks
-Advanced excel skills
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Systems experience with MS D365 and Lucanet required, FloQast preferred
-Fluent English, French min B1
