For a very well-kept and extensive private household, we are recruiting an excellent housekeeper / house manager, 100% live-in, in Zurich
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Shopping for fresh groceries
- Cooking and serving light meals for 2 people (lunch, dinner) according to the menu plan of the lady of the house
- Occasional cooking for guests
- Kitchen cleaning, waste disposal according to regulations
- Silver care, careful handling of delicate glasses and dishes
- Washing, ironing (including operating the ironing machine), minor sewing tasks
- Regular shoe care
- Monitoring and maintenance of household appliances
- Daily bed making and cleaning of bathrooms
- Cleaning and maintenance of the property in collaboration with a team colleague
- Mutual representation and close, amicable cooperation with the team colleague accompanying the family in summer and at Easter, as well as as needed to the holiday home on Lake Como
What you can demonstrate as a housekeeper
- You have worked for several years with the same family (preferably as a live-in employee, where you prepared and served dinner)
- You have a warm, well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- You are eager to learn and a team player
- You can work independently and set priorities
- You can cook light, market-fresh meals
- You have knowledge in professional laundry care
- You can operate an ironing machine (preferably also a sewing machine)
- You master various cleaning techniques and can handle professional cleaning agents
- A clean certificate of conduct and an extract from the debt collection register are required
