Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the chef, sous-chefs and chefs de partie, you will be responsible for all types of kitchen tasks. As a Demi-chef de Partie, you are an ambassador of the luxury service offered to our clientele. Your daily duties will include:
- Receiving and inspecting goods: weight, quality and freshness of products
- Storing goods and managing stock rotation according to the FIFO principle
- Preparation and handling of premium products
- Performing various cooking and seasoning tasks
- Preparation and making of sauces
- Development of basic recipes
- Preparation of mise en place necessary for service
- Plating dishes in accordance with technical sheets and quality standards
- Supervising and checking the work of the commis throughout the service
- Strict application of hygiene, food safety standards and good HACCP practices
- Participation in the integration and training of new team members

Qualifications
PROFILE SOUGHT
- Training & experience: You hold a diploma in cooking and/or equivalent hospitality school training. You have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally gained in a starred restaurant or gastronomic establishment.
- Personality: You have a good gastronomic culture and are recognised for your rigour, dynamism, organisation and team spirit. You are also attentive to details and committed to maintaining high quality standards.
- Languages: You are fluent in French, both spoken and written.
- Availability: As soon as possible. Work on weekends and public holidays.
